A Tree Within is the musical project of singer-songwriter Junko Maria. Junko’s musical style derives from her diverse heritage and upbringing, drawing from Chilean folkloric music, classical music, and other worldly influences. Her songs take listeners on a poetic journey from the shores of the Big Island to the Atacama desert, into a dreamscape of mythical and war-torn places.
Junko is accompanied by Alex Imm on the bass, Hawk Devi on the violin, and Leo Brayman on percussion.
